There you sit just inches away,
Our eyes do meet, soft - slow
I look away for a second quick
Look back - sure, you're there :)
As you speak, I see your lips part
Your smile, I see now - as radiant
I sink lower in my chair, so slight
Smiling back, and yes now I blink
I munch down quick, eager to get done
For I felt no hunger pester me no more
All I wanted - is spend an extra moment
